I just noticed the news about this contest. There is not even a section for it yet! and no one actually submitted something yet. Now we have a problem with our contests here! <br /> <br />They seem to not be working fine at all!
This is not MMJB. This is Media Jukebox. Different program. <br /> <br />And the program doesn´t require that many bitmaps ;) How you skin the mini-mode is up to you. It can be one single window with the button bmps or it can include sliding windows for the visualisations, the EQ, the playlist etc. Or you can have all of these features included in the main window. Or you can leave them out :) <br /> <br />It´s freeform and what is included is up to you.
I like the prize but i´m afraid i probably don´t have the time to learn how to skin this thing in time for the contest end. "to much to do, to little time"
I don´t use it either, and I think every one has to cut down on skinning at this time of the year, way to much to do, decorations inside and outside, shopping, wrapping, baking, writing out cards and the list goes on etc etc
If this is MMJB you are talking about, I wouldn´t skin it for the reason Xymantix gave - it has a million bitmaps. :/ Besides, I don´t use MMJB.
Well maybe it´s THE competitions that are not exactly what members wants. I don´t really know if you guys understand what I mean. Maybe a Skinbase logo competition or even a mascot. Freeware skinning contest would atract alot more people. I´m sorry to say but this Media Jukebox and radlight are not the most skinned software on the site you know.
I can´t organise T-shirts so I don´t see that happening anytime soon.....
I agree with BruB :-) How about that T-Shirt logo contest :-( I want my T-Shirt´s stomps feet, jumping up and down banging on walls, screaming in scarbears ears..... logo contest, logo contest LOL
And I think we will extend the time frame for this competiiton. Holidays etc possibly didn´t help with this competition either ;)

In the skins submission page, you submit to the ´MEDIA JUKEBOX Skinning Competition´ section. <br /> <br />I edited the competition category in the admin section too. So let me know if it now appears onsite when you list empty categories. If it doesn´t, I´ll blame /snowman: ;)
RadLight is one of the most downloaded programs here at Skinbase. Media Jukebox isn´t I know. But even when we did the last Freeware competition we didn´t see a lot of submissions. We didn´t get an entry at all for one category until after the competition. <br /> <br />I just don´t see anyone participating in any competition really. <br /> <br />And as I´ve mentioned before, these competitions (last couple) are a direct result of these programs contacting US.

hhhmmm... I´m not sure. My only (slack) suggestion would be to make the part of the slider background you don´t want used as a part of the base image. Then make the slider background the only part you really want to be used for the sliding. <br /> <br />Make sense?
Quick question...is there a way to constrict the area a handle can be draged within a slider? IE to keep it within a border?

Just wondering...does media jukebox not believe in "Open Files" buttons? I´ve yet to see one in any interface thus far :)
