Extrapolate that, and soon I´ll be taking over the whole site!
I wish I knew the date I first came here :( Sometime in 2000 I think around the time the brown site was getting ready to implode. I saw Luke´s Sonique skins here, and decided to try this place out too. <br /> <br />Then I noticed gRAVE´s messageboard thread asking for help with administering the site and thought "I can post news!" ;) Then I simply fell in love with the site and tried my best to <strike>pimp</strike> push the site whenever I could. <br /> <br />The rest as they say, is highly boring history :D
I joined Skinbase in the early days when it still was called Klevze.net back in 99 or 98, hell if my memory don´t play tricks with me again, I believe I uploaded the first Beatnik skins :) <br />And back in 2K some strange Aussie type person highjacked me to become admin too.... ;) ;) and as this Aussie does, I too promote Skinbase where ever I come! <br />Cause as you all know by now: <b>There´s no base like Skinbase</b> :D

Hmm hard to remember the dates, details, whens & hows of when I came into this thing called skinning? so it´s hard to be nostalgic but it had something do to w/ ICQ, LiteStep and craeonics I´m sure... (dutchy always makes my eyes laugh to read him) and now it seems the years keep going on by and if I don´t bail out soon, I can just see it now, some 13 yo newbie posting the usual questions on the msg board of "How old are you" and there I´ll be typing... <br />"Doreen - 99 and a half" hehe <br />(but that´s okay as long as you other old guys are still around) =)

LOL @ /Elwin: hmmmm next he´ll be saying the scent of flowers LOL anyhow I came onto the scene here in early 2000 and always had high hopes in this site, I seen a great site back then and said it has everything, and said they will come :-) This is the best crowd around the community, funny, Witty, understanding, respect for ones opinions, everyone counts, NO click attitude, NO flaming, no sarcasm, forgiving, forgetful, and did I say forgetful LOL as I have always said..... I LOVE this site and this site is made up of the B E S T :-)
Not really laugh AT you guys...more laugh with and at you guys :P j/k I really like the atmosphere at this site, being mostly the extremely helpful, friendly, and flame free environment. I´m still pretty new to the whole skin scenes but I feel pretty cozy hanging around the base :D
