That virus doesn´t sound to dangerious...more like a joke to play on people by the author. But symantec will raise threat levels of viruses if if they are poised to spread very quickly. Even if the danger to your system is minimal.

Bah. Wouldn´t surprise me if the anti-virus manufacturers are behind most virii or spread fud about them. Best solution: don´t use Outlook.

crae... i´ve always used Outlook and have nevah gotten any virus "activated" through my mail. I have gotten a hell of a lot of virii sent to me in mails the past years but none of those ever got through to do any harm!
The only time I got my system infected was when I in a moment of permanent insanity (;) ) forgot that I had closed down my firewall..... someone saw their chance and sneaked in somehow and planted a virus that infected just about any file possible on my system :/
Only way to be absolutely sure that your pewter stays clean: don´t turn it on!!
