Chichi: the command line is the best option! what OS are you using? <br /> <br />in XP close all windows and run cmd.exe for the command line. <br />then hit CTRL+ALT+DEL to open the taskmanager. <br />in the processess list quit explorer.exe. <br />the go to the command line and type: <br /> <br />DELTREE C:\DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS\CHICHIGIRL\DESKTOP\EVILFOLDER\ <br /> <br />of course you need to change the paths to match your system ;)
Ok you two----> Pearl and chickie, wait until you get one of these on your computer LOL <br /> <br />moshi :-) your always one to count on for help, and I truly appreciate that :-) I copied and pasted your instruction for future purposes...... but after 11 & 1/2 hours of grueling, hair pulling and swearing, it will take me hours to ask for forgiveness from higher powers :-) I decided to apply my "AstonShell" and was able to go down the c/drive to where this dang folder on the Explorer Desktop was sitting and accomplished the task of Deletion..... I have never encountered anything so stubborn, hopefully all of these files and Registration garbage is gone.... Thanks again moshi :-)
