If your talking about skinning ´XP itself the 2 big names are WindowBlinds and MsStyles. <br />I know that those 2 work with the ´Explorer´ shell. Everything else that comes to mind would change the shell to 1 of it´s own.

If your talking about what program to skin, there is ShellWM for Windows and is freeware...... if your talking like Paint Shop Pro by Jasc software or Photoshop there not free, and I personaly don´t know of any good one´s for free........

MS Styles are ´free´, as in they use the build in skinning engine for windowsXP. The 3 skins that come with XP use this engine. But the skin system is protected, and limited to only these 3 skins. To make your own skin for it you should download the FREE style xp dll patch from www.tgtsoft.com (not the program, just the patch!). With that link you should be on the run :-) If not then go to www.virtualplastic.net they have a nice page about windows skinning. (with some more programs)
