I am totally in favor of this war for SOME of the reasons I stated above. I think that war is
sometimes inevitable to attain peace and granted, it can cause more violence after the fact.
We only have to look at Germany after WW2 to verify the suffering those people were
subjected to. I am also sure that most of this violence with be brought against the
American people in one form or another, but we’ll cross that bridge when we get there.

As far as WMD is concerned, it is a fact that Saddam used nerve gas in the war against
Iran in the 80’s. In addition, and also a well known fact, that he has Mustard Gas, Anthrax
and who knows what others. I believe he has some chemical weapons because they have
already found antidote tablets in the possession of the Iraqi Regular army, found chemical
protective suits and vials used to administer an antidote. If in fact he doesn’t have chemical
weapons, why equip his troops with this type of gear? I am not surprised they haven’t
found any of these weapons in the first 10 days of the war. The weapons would have to
be hidden in the path of our advancing army to trip over.....

How long will it last? Your guess is as good as mine. I don’t have a clue... As far as the
bombing is concerned, I was given this link by a good friend.
http://www.digitalglobe.com/gallery/baghdad/ It is a satellite picture of Baghdad after some
of the bombing. It clearly shows what has been bombed and what has not.. I was quite
impressed over the clarity and most of all the City of Baghdad it self... This tells me that
we are not trashing the cities of Iraq.

Thinking the enemy of the enemy becomes a friend..... I only look at Germany and Japan
to KNOW that this line of thought does happen. Will it happen again? Only time will tell.
As far as Osama is concerned, I believe the US supported Afghanistan against the Russians
and Bin Laden was not a part of the Afghanistan government....
