Excuse me, but I don´t think the admin(s) had a pro or anti-war agenda when they closed it. I think they just wanted to avoid the flame war that would inevitably develop!
Even if i´M an admin here. I did not close this thread. It was going strong.
::sigh:: if there can´t be an honest, flame-less civilized discussion about the current events here, then where? this is supposed to be the place where people are peaceful and everyone has an equal and respected chance to voice their opinion.
I have been here for three years now and it seems lately to many threads are being closed because some one is always asking "will you please close this thread" or because some admin doesn´t like what´s being said and uses his authority..... The war is a heavy heavy topic, but I seen no flame or one starting, WE ARE adults here aren´t we? and we are no longer in school to be so constantly kept in line like some other site I know of that is running a track record of taking one´s freedom of speech away.... If you didn´t like the topic of a thread to begin with like I mentioned earlier when it was first opened, then stay out of it, or don´t click on it to read it...... just my opinion!
Is "closed" really closed, as in: no more posts allowed, or is it the ArtUproar way, where "closed" just means the comment form is removed, but you can still post?
