Yes of course it´s nice to get some feedback on your work but as I said, I don´t rate the comments very highly.
I upload my work so people can use it - not "talk" about it..... but yes, a lill thank you once in a while is great and really makes you wanna do more stuff! :)
Or be different from the original ppl and be trendy and know it. ❌
/red likes trendyness :evil

As for CoolPlayer, I think it just needs a 2.0 with noticable changees: multiple skin switches, optional animation, better sound, and a matching playlist. A few simple things would make a big difference. Oh ya, it needs to go back to the old (non-M$) compiler.
Good. Trendy is for sheep. Be an original instead.
Winamp kept bugging on my net computer. So I only use Coolplayer now. Small, light... Easy...
I think I have to leave any hope to be "trendy" ! LOL
No there´s still a few coolplayer skinnners out there...coolplayer itself just doesn´t have the features of winamp 3 or sonique 2. I think the trend is turning from older free form players (coolplayer, ultraplayer, k-jofol) to the newer ones.
I tend to agree with Travelian : the constructive comments are the most interresting. But the other ones are encouraging ! :-D
If people can help me to improve my work, that´s great !

Speaking of little used applications, am I the last Coolplayer skinner alive, or QCD ate them all ? LOL
I´m kind of happy to see myself on both list

/BruB: taps himself on the back
I agree with BruB too!! and this Monthly Comments Chart is really great idea...we all can see the results of it ( people comment more then ever, a real Comment Flood LOL )

:snow you´re kinda right but what if you skin apps that few people use (like myself) I mean if i get ~200 dl´s on this site i´m shocked and amazed. Hell i got a desktop screenshot that has more dl´s than some skins of mine :(

Oh well i do skins cause their fun and I only skin apps i use. But I tend to prefer comments. Moreso the constructive comments that actually tell me how to improve upon a skin or make my next one better.

Brub i couldn´t agree more with what you said.
That´s right BurB ;)
Let´s not forget that "Artists" have to comment too. There is alot of people that upload without ever commenting. Then they expect some. I don´t think it´s right.
That´s right Snow :-D
You are right Snow, but it is good to have some feedback when you are uploading something, don´t you think? We are working so many hours for free, at least one "thanks" it is needed.
This "Skinning case" I think it has to take new directions, I don´t know which, but I guess that we will find something ;)
Perhaps coolplayer will actually become a "cool player" in a few more builds :)
I´m not sure about any one else here, but I for one have found it a little aggravating when looking at the last 7 day uploads link, that once you click on a skin to make a comment there is not a way to continue looking at the rest of the 7 days upload skins, can only continue by clicking the "back button" twice and then if you get hung up it causes you a double comment post, or you have to START all over from page one of the last 7 days uploads link and then click on at the top of the page to get back to page 3 or 4 that I was on....... Would be nice to have a "´back button" that takes you back to the previous page I left off on :, ... :brb
I actually always had the same agravation, but never really mentionned it.
One way around that is to use a tabbed browser.
Open up the 7 day upload link and set the browser to open a new page for each new link from there. Make your comment, close the previewed/commented page and you are back to where you started....

Did that make sense? LOL
And it´s death to the peanut!... /peanut779:
