Photshop has way more than enough tricks to make skins look good. Believe it or not some of the best skins you´ll ever find were done in ms paint or much earlier versions of photoshop or Paint shop pro. <br /> <br />As far as modeling a 3d chair you may want something like 3d studio max, but for a media player skin photoshop should do the trick. <br /> <br />for some handy tutorials try out this site... <br /> <br />http://www.eyeball-design.com/fxzone/tutorial.htm <br /> <br />though i´m sure browsing though some of the links here should also direct you to some other great tutorials on sites like spoono
