Hob, I bought the new comp for $429. :D :) It didn´t come with a monitor. XP was already installed. I didn´t have to install everything. That is the coolest part. :) Ya can buy refurbished (almost new) comps for lower price. It´s really awesome. LOL Ya can find cheaper comps at different stores or maybe in Idiana. Good luck to find them. ;)

Make sure you read your manual, and look for where it teaches you how to make a "Restore Point" at least once a week and your computer will never have to be reformatted, you have a problem just pick out your latest restore point and wa la your running again........... I just love StyleXP, a little green frog actually did me a big favor or I would have never tried StyleXP, runs bug free and very compatible with every program I have on my computer.... /me screams I´m really happy for you chickie :-)

Chickie: You can get a new 17" monitor for about $50 at a computer show. It often costs $5-10 to get in, btw. Lots of good prices on other things. Don´t throw out your old one. Use it for parts if any thing. You can put that old 2 gig hard drive in there pretty easily too. Then you will have all your old files and programs. A second CD-Rom or floppy drive is nice to have too. 8) This stuff is a lo easier to install than you think. Let me know if you are willing to take customizing your stysem up a notch. ;)

Chichi, Thanx for the nice comment. :) I checked my profile thingy. I do love leave comments. Mostly, I forget. LOL Kyle & Jazmine keeps me busy. I get side-tracked. I´ll try to leave more comments. Can´t promise anything.
