Well, got the picture. <br /> <br />Photography has many objectives: either as enternainment (should not be the case in my point of view at SB ,although I realized that probably I have "sin" ) either as a cultural vehicule , or either as art. <br /> <br />However, the difficult question about photography is how should we consider photography as art ?. <br /> <br />Well I cannot give a straight answer to this, as what would be art for me, wouldn´t be for another person, so.... <br /> <br />Besides it seems that sometimes people are too eager to make their photography only as "art itens" and sometimes they just fail to do that because their photography isn´t enough "natural". <br /> <br />Photography should be a "natural" thing, when taking pictures I am not "cataloging" them as art,cultural or entertainment because only afterwards and when I am working with them, I put them in their specific "shelf". Sometimes I take pictures that were meant as entertainment and they could be works of art or either a cultural and sociological work and vice versa. It is very difficult for me to "catalog" things. <br /> <br />For instance BruB has terrific pics and I just like them - ones more than others - but I do not catalog them, as I find it useless. I like them simply as images, or as the tecnique it envolves, that´s enough... <br /> <br />And I have learn many things about QuĂ©bec with his pics ...so it´s a positive thing <br /> <br />I agree that DA has an huge photography gallery but again, some of them are good and some of them are just crap ( as for sure my own pictures are to many people, )...so... what can I say ? <br /> <br /> <br />We cannot please to everybody, can we ? nothing wrong with photos. :) <br />just would be nice if they would be removed from the "Last 7 Day Skins" list and get their own category (as the wallpapers). but first the boss has to enjoy his vacation.
