That works on the board, but does it also work on a description?

No, it doesn&acute;t in description! <br />The script doesn&acute;t accept some characters! :-( <br /> <br />I remember I have done it long time ago, but I don&acute;t remember how anynore! Maybe the script has been change. <br /> <br />We need gRAVE for a valid answer, gRAVE is having nice vacation at the moment, but he will be back soon! ;) :) <br /> <br />

Yeah, but what I wonder is how to avoid the [LINK] appearance and instead getting the actual name of the referred piece, I mean, it´s just a question of aesthetics maybe, but it can move users to go and visit the actual links. My own experience tells me that I usually ignore links that say just [LINK] and instead I am moved to visit links where the actual name is visible. This should be easily achieved with HTML code, but it doesn´t seem to work in descriptions here!

well, there was the decision made to change the links to display as [LINK], they didn&acute;t always, but what might be nice is to change it so you type in an address and you some syntax to indicate a word or short description that will be used instead of [LINK] so that you still aren&acute;t getting an ugly and sometimes long internet address showing up, but you have a description of the link that can encourage more people to click on it.

to me, the links stick out better when shown as <B>[LINK]</B> so maybe to a step further and show them as <B>[description]</B> <br /> <br />ya know?
