I mean, could It be possible that this was a computer program / script just downloading every wallpaper? <br />sorry for this odd question :)

Xenu - the current layout of my site was made by one of the greatest (<b>imo</b>) layout designers/makers around at the moment - moocker. <br />He uploaded a &acute;preview&acute; of an abandoned layout on VelocityArt.com - and it so happend that I was in search of a new layout for my site, and bingo.... :D :D <br />(was a bitch to slice up btw!!)

Xenu, I have definitely seen that happen with mine... <br />Obviously, someone liked one of your pics and took the time to look up your gallery and then took <br />the time to download one of everything that you had to offer... <br />I find that to be a HIGH compliment indeed and it makes me very happy to see this happen.. :)

&quot;cheater scripts&quot; is known to excist and have been used on some sites - some people think that if you have high download counts on your works, they get better. <br /> <br />Detecting these &acute;scripts&acute; can be quite hard in some cases, depending on what kind of stats each site is running but they will be caught sooner or later. <br /> <br />I for one hardly ever download/look at walls since I <b>very</b> rarely change my desktop wallpaper - only when I create a new Hoverdesk theme :) <br /> <br />As for downloading stuff I only go for application skins, mainly because I have this lill collection I started some eight or nine years ago - http://skinventory.onlyhere.net - added skin number 35.000 last Sunday :D :D

In fact, you don&acute;t even have to actually download anything. You can just repeatedly call the right url and that download count will sky rocket.

yeah, i&acute;ve seen that happen to me a few times, all of my uploads will get one new download at the same time...but i still don&acute;t my stuff is any good like that...

Happened to me once or twice... Wallpapers and skins too... But since I&acute;ve not made too many of them, it&acute;s not really strange. <br /> <br />The stranger thing is what people choose to download (and not to download) among my stuff... }:? }:? }:?

Yess... <br /> <br />Its also funny to see which which wallpapers of mine get an award and which dont, If I look how much effort I spent on these... <br /> <br />Once, I really took 2 or 3 DAYS to do one wallpaper, and it was not popular at all :) but I&acute;m sure I&acute;ve learned a LOT out of it, as the next work was pretty popular. <br /> <br />Actually uploading stuff makes me doing more with photoshop in my free time and thats good :))
