Stardock releases WindowBlinds 3.1

New Skin Type: Extended Visual Styles.

The biggest feature new to 3.1 is the inclusion UIS1 which has been dubbed "Extended Visual Styles". 99% of WindowBlinds skins are created with what is called UIS2, a skin language designed to make it easy to create complex skins.

UIS1 Advantages

Much faster than UIS2 or Windows XP´s visual styles
More compatible than UIS2

UIS1 Dis-advantages

Harder to skin (it´s actually easier to create a UIS2 skin and convert it to UIS1)
Title bar buttons have to be on the title bar (UIS2 allows buttons to be placed on the sides or bottom of a window)
Borders have to be equal in size and default to 4 pixels in size.
